Anubias Heterophylla Supernova is a rarer variant that features vibrant green foliage nearly twice the standard length. Its leaves display unique venation and are slightly waved. This variation works well as both a midground and background plant due to its substantial leaf size. Similar to other Anubias species, this variant is a flowering plant that does best when affixed to solid surfaces such as wood or stones. Lighting requirements are low to moderate and providing CO2 isn’t required, but can accelerate growth and fortify leaf structure. Propagation can be done by simply dividing the rhizomes for replanting. It is important to ensure that rhizomes remain above the substrate to prevent potential rotting.
