Cryptocoryne Florida Sunset is a hybrid variation of Cryptocoryne Wendtii. This particular Cryptocoryne is very unique and has the potential to display a variety of colors in the aquarium. Main tones consist of green shades and can also include hints of pink and gold depending on the aquarium conditions. Coloration is not stable in this variety, making each plant unique! C. Florida Sunset is a medium-sized aquarium plant and is suitable for midground placement in the tank. It can be a slow grower, so planting in groups is best when possible.
Cryptocoryne Florida Sunset is generally hardy once established, but can experience some melt in the beginning stages or when introduced to new environments. Even so, this aquatic plant can be a great choice for beginner hobbyists who have some experience keeping aquatic plants and are ready to try new species. For the best results, we recommend planting Crypt Florida Sunset in an established aquarium. Quality substrate and nutrients, paired with CO2 injection and low to medium lighting will help with overall growth and health.
